Mulika Wheat – BioGro Certified Organic | Ideal for Bakers, Home milling, Sourdough, Soaking and Sprouting

Mulika is renowned for its high protein content, strong gluten quality, typically high Hagberg falling numbers and nutty, full-bodied flavour – making it a favourite among artisan bakers, sourdough enthusiasts, and traditional stone millers.  Its robust grain structure yields beautifully textured flour, ideal for making sourdough bread, crackers, and fresh pasta. Whether you are baking in a commercial kitchen or experimenting at home, Mulika offers both depth of colour and flavour.

As the sole producer and supplier of Mulika Wheat in New Zealand, we offer a rare opportunity to experience this exceptional modern English milling variety – organically grown and traceable from our paddocks to your pantry.

Why Choose Mulika Wheat:

  • BioGro Certified Organic – No sprays, no chemicals, just clean grain
  • Non-GMO – Naturally bred and free from genetically modified organisms.
  • Perfect for sourdough breads – Good rising quality and golden colour
  • Fresh-Milled Flavour – Grind freshly for peak nutrition and taste
  • Versatile Use – Great for 100% wheat breads or mixing with rye and spelt

We have been using this wheat all year for our household bread and baking. Postage is always prompt, and this makes an honestly delicious and flavoursome loaf of bread! It’s our absolute favourite and the odd time we’ve had a supermarket loaf in between we’ve all (kids included!) missed the Mulika!
Mills beautifully. Thanks so much, we are very happy!
